If you have ever wondered about having a visual account of the travels of the Apostle Paul to sync with your biblical studies, then there is a work out there that will become a welcomed addition to your Bible study reference shelf: “The Journeys of Apostle Paul Study Guide” by Dr. Paul Lee Tan (2016, 374 pages, PTPM Publications).

    Dr. Tan leads a tour of many of the places associated with Paul’s biblical travels, missionary trips, church planting associations--and then some.  The work is packed with color photos, an in-depth examination of each of the sites visited, and the biblical story/reference associated with each location.  His book also includes an overview of each of the Bible Books penned by the Apostle Paul, as well as a folding in of teachings on The Book of the Revelation, key information on the impact of the Greek and Roman empires on the scriptures, and a lot more.

    The book is divided into five parts, and includes maps and charts of each area, along with an index containing the scriptures that were cited in the work.  There are also a host of areas where the reader may make notes as to what new discoveries they find for themselves.  Dr. Tan, no stranger to touring these regions, provides some behind-the-scenes observations at some of the major stops on his tours.
