Trying to slip in under the guise of cultures
Many of us don’t realize we’re in torture

All the depression they say that we’re sick
As if there is no other option
I’m sorry that isn’t how life goes
We’re all meant to have some hope

Can’t you see society is on a slippery slope
You offer a little faith and they say nope
Trying to manipulate what it is we feel
Look at the epidemic of sex appeal

It’s like the lottery, trying to find shine
Where has it all gone, this isn’t fine
There’s more questions than answers
But the answers reside in the good word
