A dream ship was to be made to sail through an endless ocean for a profitable adventure. This dream ship took many valuable resources, rigours and years: scarce and precious time to put it together.


After many years, the work was completed. Some groups of people, quite populated, were employed to get the dream ship to the ocean. To every member of each group was given a thick and strong, but short rope, which has it both, ends fixed up with a golden fasting hook. And the captain of the dream ship told them ” get the ship on the sea for a sail” he went inside into fortified building nearby for some administrative tiding up


Anxiously, they all ran and started pushing the dream ship, each group, concentrating on the different point and best of their achievement was just still very far from the store of the endless ocean. These groups employed many methods and implemented many suggestions, with all these, little was the achievement.

After a while, the captain came out and saw men sweating, dejected and depressed and asked, “What is wrong?” “And why all these? A man replied “ we are trying the best in our might” he pointed to his co-frustrated and weary colleagues who are seriously pushing the ship in their ignorance. Then the captain reply
“You don’t need all these, there are rings fixed at the sides of the ship and I gave you those ropes, make it one- tie then you’ll pull this right into the sea with ease”. The crowd of weary workers looked at the captain with confused amazement. He then said once again “Until the tie one, you cannot move this!” He went in again

After much pondering, some got the clue and they began to join rope to rope, until it become a long and stronger network of one tie by which they gathered collectively to pull the Dream ship, and that did the work in few minutes and endless profitable adventure commenced!
It took great resources of Christ life, time, love and pains to establish the church: it cost generations of believers their precious lives and convenience to get the many wonderful work fixed up on the dream ship- the church. Generations of many believers were martyred through many cruel means: some were flayed alive; some were stretched till their various parts were disjointed. So many became fatherless orphans, childless and many pregnant women were burnt at stake and some wide cats busted some times their pregnancy. Men were burnt and some thrown into the sack where all kinds of snakes were packed to get the wonderful feature found on the dream ship-the church.
It did cost lives and death of many to get the Bible translated and printed for men to discover the various lost doctrines and faith in the dark ages. It was a real battle yet the faithful saints fudged ahead until the church is fixed up with all the wonders she is made up now.

Now these generations have passed and the captain of the church the Saviour of the world the Lord Jesus Christ, command the workers “occupy till I come” “Get this ship on the sea” this had been noised about. The rope with golden hook- the Bible is been used for many means and ways but only few have yet seen the need to create the network of faith through which the church can be moved into the desired lasting revival she is expected to experience. Some, though zealous, but ignorantly are pulling it back, but until the tie- become one and face the same direction; the church of God may not move into the world wide winning of souls we expect. Until it is one-tie!

Our generation has placed Christ on the counter of shame and cut him into pieces each group picking it portion and try to extol. If God will not permit Christ bones broken on the cross, why do we, attempt such by our ignorance, pride, greed and fear? Christ is divided and the children of God are divided n also– for our language is divided! As expected we are not one in faith and unity.

For you are still carnal for where there is envy, strife and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? For when one says, “ I am of Paul “ and another “I am of Apollo’s” are you not carnal? Who then is Paul and who is Apollo’s, I planted, Apollos watered, but ministers through whom you believed as the lord give to each one? I planted, appollos watered, but God give the increased I Cor. 3: 3-6\

There are many sides of this one God. God is big, that only one person cannot comprehend him in his entirety. These He reveals to different people; his revelation is capable of networking, compatible and complimentary and is to accomplish a set goal of edifying saints. But these various edifying sides and revelations, the pride of the ignorant people had created divisions – dividing Christ, dividing the holy spirit, dividing the father of peace- through the same Bible! Until we learn how to use this golden rope well, to create a network of faith in unity, we won’t get the dream ship move forward.

I heard Devil celebrate his success: keep them dividing, break their one language. Enlist them under the tutorship of envy, pride and covetousness then surely, they will not be one! We keep the victory as long as they are divided!.
The enemy of the kingdom understands the power of oneness that the Lord prayed seriously for in the book of John. 17:11 and that is the strategy, he ‘s using; keep them dividing!

If only we can find our oneness of faith in the one Lord, one spirit and one God, then the testimony of God is Gen 11:7 will be the out come of our actions and labour “ and the Lord said “ Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do now nothing that they propose to do will be with held from them!.
Until the tie is one, until the network is uniform, we delay the victory of the church- therefore let all the citizen of the church- the redeemed, those born the second time.; to seek, pray and endeavors to keep the unity of faith, until this , we remain frustrated and failure in this spiritual battle of faith!
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling: one lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, through all and in you all. But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ gift.
