For how long can you tame the devil? For how long can you live successfully and safely with him? How peaceful do you imagine you’ll live if your dwelling is very next to devil’s apartments? Imagine if you are in the same vehicle with him in a short or long journey, how do you feel. If devil is your husband or wife, what do you expect? I am very sure no one will be freely disposed to this mischievous being. You never can make a deal with the devil without being rewarded with living, obvious and painful REGRETS. Yet, many are still ignorantly neighbours to this pendulum of woe!

A story was told about a man who caught a small snake and delighted in making it a pet; this he nursed; until the snake became very big. This snake knew well the master’s voice and attires. One day, the man went out and that night, he couldn’t come back and for some reasons he had to change his cloth to the one he collected from his friend. While he got home, he knocked for his snake friend to open but this beast was scared as it peeped; it wasn’t the same cloth the master wore when going out.
Being threatened by this confusion it was prepared to attack- it was its master voice but a different cloth. While the door opened the big snake attacked. The master cried with groan, “ it is I” “ it is I ” unfortunately it was a serious bite. The snake crawled round him to show it was a mistake but he was dying. While the neighbour had him shout, they came to rescue but the snake escaped through the window. You cannot live long and peaceful if you are a neighbour to devil.
What will kill a man
Is never a stranger to him?
Death is as close to you as your Habits,
Association, deals and taste,
if they are evil intended..
Have you gone to Devil’s city for an adventure and there picked various types of Sins, which you have since endeavour to nurse as pet. May be there, you caught fornication, adultery, lying, rebellion, greediness, cheating, hatred, strife,
malice, envy, disobedience, pride and many others. And you have now nursed
them till they are grown up. Unfortunately all of these are devil’s properties. He is ever conscious of them and he will build his house next to your life if you harbour any of his properties. More so, all these possess poisonous bite that will
not only inflict you with only sorrow but also have the responsibility to lead you to untimely Death and eternal damnation. “He who sins is of the devil, for devil has sinned from the beginning…” 1 john 3:8a

The wages of sin is death! Your likely, or untimely death is not going to be far from your prominent Sins and bad habits. With all of these, you are living very next to the devil. You are making your journey in the same vehicle with him. You are making a business deal with him and no matter how friendly and loving he may appear now, pains, sorrows, troubles and regrets are best gifts and rewards he will give all his neighbours; as long as they accommodate him in their lives
You do not only need a very long spoon to dine with the devil, do not attempt dining with him, Either with –short or long spoon, he is not good for such the Bible says “Run from all appearances of evil-I thess. 56:23
You cannot tame the devil while he lives in you. You cannot control him while he’s your neighbour. You cannot dwell safely when the master of disaster and the pendulum of destruction has a throne in you through sins you have harboured and nursed for very short or long time.
Gifted and powerful Samson was destroyed when he made Lust is close associate. King Solomon was ruined as a result of setting his house right at the land of devils. So likewise, Judas Iscariot fell to covetousness. You cannot be devil’s neighbour and dwell safely.
If any of devils’ properties reside within you, you are harbouring him indirectly and his perfect love will do the best of importing temporal and eternal calamities, disasters, sorrows, pains and regrets. You better consider deliverance from all of these sins. They connect you with the prince of darkness and he has no gift of peace. As many that willingly or mistakenly stroll into his compound he will mercilessly afflict.
So how?
“If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 john 1:8-10
Christ came for this purpose to deliver as many that have been nesting in devil’s apartment of destruction “…For this purpose the son of God was manifested, that He might the work of the devil.
That is the way! You had better excommunicate these daughters of devil from your life, by coming to Christ in sincere repentance and prayer. Don’t allow the devil to feast on your future and prospect. If you still consider staying with devil, he’ll make you useless to God and life and subsequently by this, harbour eternal curse! Think Right.
