Jesus' Mother And Brothers

While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. Someone told him, “Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to you.” He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Matthew 12:46-50 NIV

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Yet He had a biological mother and brothers. Have you at times wished you could be related to Christ?

If you truly abide in Christ, then you do belong to Him, as a brother, or sister, or mother. Christ does not lightly speak to us through His words, and we can truly accept everything He says as being truth.

Abide in Christ. Be His brother, sister, or mother. Doesn’t that make you feel warm inside, and truly accepted by the Father and the Son? Live always in the ways of the Lord. You are truly blessed.
