We have all heard about gratitude, how we should be more grateful for what we have, what we have made it through. This is great and can revolunanize our lives and our relationships if we practice it consistently.

However there is another aspect of being thankful. Thanking God for the answer in advance is the highest form of praise, of trust. When we do this, we are essentially saying, "Lord, I trust You." Probably one of the sweetest phrases to God's ears.

Thanking God before we see anything in the natural takes confidence though. Confidence in God and His Promises.

How can we be that confident?

When Jesus died on the Cross, He cried out, "It is finished (John 19:30)." What was finished? Did He just die to keep us from hell? Did He just die for our salvation and forgiveness of sins?

God has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Does healing belong to life and godliness? Yes. By Jesus' stripes, we were healed (I Peter 2:24). Does financial health belong to life and godliness? Yes. II Corinthians 9:8 says God gives us abundance in every situation. What about mental health? Relationships? Covered and covered.

Jesus died to give us healing in every area of our lives--in our spirit, body, mind, finances, relationships. Jesus took it all. It already finished. Already ours. II Corinthians 1:20 tells us that the promises of God are yes and amen. If it is promised in God's Word, it is already ours.

If they are already ours, how come we can't see them? They are stored up in our Heavenly bank account. Just like our earthly ones, resources aren't automatically withdrawn from our accounts without action on our part.

How do we make a withdraw? By thanking God in advance for what is already ours before we ever see it in the natural. This puts your faith on the line. It shows that we are trusting God to transfer it from the spiritual realm to the natural.

It may take awhile, but if we consistently thank God in advance for what we need, we will see it manifest. Just keep thanking God for the result no matter what you see. It will happen.
You will see it in this realm.
