Will All Men Be Saved (Part 1)

The Foreknowledge of God

We must bear in mind that before there was an earth or man to commit any wrong God saw all that would be, and yet he proceeds with his work. We must also understand that within all that God saw, even without making any changes, he added the solution and applied that solution. Moreover, the answer was a part of the formula before there was a problem.

Acts 2:23 - Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

1 Peter 1:2 - Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

God doesn't think nor act like a man. The acts of God when taken into consideration will be in the realm of what we call impossible because God operates in a manner that is unlike anyone. Thus as men, we cannot even begin to find out the ways of God, unless, given to us by God.

The Drawing Of The Father

John 6:44
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

According to the words of Jesus, the only way for a man to come to Jesus, the Father must draw him; there's no other way. In the above text, he's not speaking of an invitation that one can choose to accept or reject. But it's a choice that's made for him by the one who's drawing. As the owner of all flesh, the Father has the right to what he wills done with his property.

The word that's translated 'draw', is a Greek word that means 'to drag. Moreover, there's nothing in the object that's being dragged that moves it to come otherwise. Furthermore, the dragging is with force. God drags the man to Jesus by using force. It is by the power of God that men are saved.

Romans 1:16

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

If you know the scripture you would know that even faith and believing is a gift from God and not of ourselves, and God's word is his gospel.

Ephesians 2:8 - For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

The God of All Flesh

John 17:2
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
Jeremiah 32:27 - Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?

Jesus said that the Father gave him power over all flesh, that he might give eternal life to as many as the Father gave him.

Now think about what he said. If all flesh was given to Jesus by the Father, that Jesus may give eternal life to as many that' given to him. And the Father gave Jesus power over all flesh. Then Jesus is to give eternal life to all that the father gave him, and that's all flesh or men.

Furthermore, if God was only planning to save some and not all he could have given Jesus power over an exact number of people and not all flesh, but he gave Jesus power over all men.

We were sold the bill of goods that says a man is of free will, and can do as he so chose. If you are of free will why don't you run around breaking the law and see what happens?

Because a man decides to do wrong doesn't make what he does right. In the world and universe that we live in, all justice is measured according to who God is, and the Bible declares that all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The glory of God is the expression of who God is.

According to God's measurements, there is nothing good in man, and all had gone astray of what they were created for. God is the creator, and God created the man with a specific purpose. The man was created within the property that's owned by God. Thus the man and the property that he occupies is God's property. Therefore, God is within his rights to do as he pleases with his property. Hence, the salvation of the man is a decision of God and God alone.

No, God is not walking the earth to see who will choose him and who will not. But God selects the man in Christ Jesus before the man committed a single act on the earth.

Romans 3:9-19

9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way; they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat is an open sepulcher; with their tongues, they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Romans 3:23
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

The earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof. And in the same manner that the police within his jurisdiction has the right to arrest me for breaking the law if I break the law of God he has the right to make sure justice is met. But God not only dealt with the sin of the individual but he has removed the sins of the world.

Galatians 1:4 - Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

1 John 2:2 - And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
