It is you whom I look for
In every nook and corner of life
Hoping to see you around always
To add that special glow to my day.

It is you whom I look for
On every stair of destiny's step
To be able to make the climb with you
No height would be too difficult then.

It is you whom I look for
In the driveway of life's lane
To know that you are present there
Make my day fly on wings of joy.

It is you whom I look for
Among the walls that enclose us
The pillars too beam in radiance
When our searching eyes lead us to each other.

It is you whom I look for
In the long passage of fate's turn
To walk side by side on Time's own surface
A moment in union is akin to a lifetime walk.

It is you whom I look for
On the threshold of love's entrance
To know what rapture the interior can bring
Coat my soul with Heaven's own topping.

It is you whom I look for
Along the road that joins us to the other
Every signal flashed on this stretch
Corresponds to the colours of hope waving at us.

It is you whom I look for
When my heart longs for its other half
To take in the miles that wind in the way
Reach at last and find you waiting there.
