Good clear message about how some of our youth are behaving on social media. The problem, of course, is not the media, but an attitude among our youth as well as others.
Christians need to influence people do treat others right, not make things up, and not put their treasures on things here on earth, where moths do corrupt.
The trick, even for older people, of which I am, is to find the right friends. When people become mean, dictatorial, condescending, etc., I walk away from them. I commented on a FB friend's page, where some of her friends didn't think I had a right to my opinion. A stranger stuck up for me, agreeing with my point of view. My FB friend not only didn't defend my right to my opinion, but got angry at me because she doesn't like to see her friends quarrel. She went along in order to get along. I unfriended her.
I've had a lot of more than surface discussions on subjects and, when someone doesn't agree with me, we agree to disagree. For me, much of FB is edifying, educating - makes me think.
