From time to time, I have to stop my racing thoughts and pacing footsteps by reading the above scripture.

I sometimes find myself getting anixous when I feel that God is not answering my prayer(s) in a timely manner.  As time goes on, and  my prayer(s) goes unanswered, and I feel a solution must be reached, I will take matters into my own hands. And, this really turns into a disaster because I am just trying everything.  Finally, as a result of my actions, I become overwhelmed with frustation. Yes, through my whole process, I am still proclaiming my faith in God, but my problem is, I am working in my timeframe and not allowing God to answer me in His own time and His own way.  After going a couple of rounds, I come to my senses and calm myself  with  Psalm 46:10  and Philippians 4:6   Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
