FINIS

I descended the cave in the Holy Realm
And came to his place of rest
To remain was his mission for oh, so long
And the Master had left us His best.
"Arise," said I to the sleeping disciple,
"It is time, and your slumber's complete.
When we finish in twelve hundred, sixty days
We shall lay down our lives at His feet."

He awoke with a look I will never forget
It encompassed millenia two
And he stood to his feet
And then fell to his knees
And worshipped the God we both knew,
Who had led us to this very moment
We go forth from this place with a power
For the One who annointed our Lord in Gethsemane
Has created us both for this hour.
