She laughs with extreme joy as she twirls in her ivory lace full length wedding dress (for she remains a traditional type girl!), she looked absolutely gorgeous! That laughter, so infectious... it completely transforms her face into that person that you just want to be around and trust. Amazing! This is what really attracted her husband-to-be at their chance meeting not so long ago, though it seems like ages now.

Her best friend and her sister, that's how she has always reffered to me since our primary school years, as i watch her so happy and content in her spirit about her soon-to-be marriage but,... as happy as i am to see her have joy in her life, i just can't get rid of this feeling of despair and darkness looming around the man soon to be her husband!
In that instant her mind goes to what her late mother always said to her about Marriage and choosing a life partner:
"my daughter, never be in a hurry to say YES to every proposal, ask the Lord for guidance, pray and fast if need be for clearance before you commit your whole existence into the hands of another!' I asked the same question everytime, 'why mother, should it be like a battle, can't I psychologically assess and logically watch and know who will be RIGHT for me?'

She would smile accomodating my spiritual 'childishness' and say...
Don't you know darling that, 'the wedding is just for a day but the MARRAIGE is meant to last a life time'.

Choosing a LIFE PARTNER is neither a matter to be handled with flippancy nor with kids gloves. This is the real deal, if a person has gambled all through life in decision making matters; marraige is where a halt should be put in place and God's intervention should be sought. Very important, it is sheer bliss to have divinely apportioned Adam with Eve but wrong choices create an environment of complete disaster and hell on earth!
A true Christian will be spiritually insane to try  and CONVERT an unbeliever so as to marry him! The devil has a field day in such a union, regularly torturing both of them or using one to be his torture tool against the other. Love, in the true sense of the matter is not blind. Infatuation and Lust are!

IT IS INDEED A BATTLE! A battle for the human soul, to kill, steal and destroy our joy, peace of mind and divine plans of the most High for our lives.

Every means possible is put in the works to lead man to the lake of fire and that includes a bad marriage; when Godwants to bless you in an amazing different format, He puts a person in your life, the devil is a copycat, when he plans to destroy man, he attaches a person to him! As apostle Paul said, it is better to remain single than be married to the devils messenger. Rushing into marriage means RUSHING OUT EVENTUALLY!

Marriage is Gods divinely established covenant, Do look before you leap!
