The false teaching on youtube videos is growing at a more rapid rate as we approach the end of time.  False teachers are waxing worse and worse as they teach things totally contrary to God's word.  The following is some correspondence with a man whom I perceive the Spirit of the Lord is working to reveal Biblical truth.  This is a good thing for without a Biblical understanding of God's work in our souls and and fear of the Lord there is no evidence of salvation.  The man in question is a pastor who believes in the false teaching of the carnal Christian.  The bible teaches only two types of people 1. The Spiritual or Spirit filled/controled person and 2.  The natural or carnal/fleshly person who is not saved.  Through the Scofield Bible and other Bibles with footnotes that teach erroneous and unBiblical doctrines many have been led astray from the truth. For many years I was taught per the Scofield bible that there were three kinds of people.  The third type of person is suppose to be a Christian who is carnal.  He has been saved but he will not receive any rewards when he gets to heaven.  He has little or no desire for prayer or reading God's word.  My friend this isn't a carnal Christian.  This is a lost person who has no thirst or hunger for God.  Every Christian will hunger and thirst for God and His holiness howbeit in different degrees.  This is a matter of sanctification which is progressive in each child of God.
I've done a video on YouTube about the carnal Christian for those interested in watching.
Just type in brother Carlton or LAStreetPreacher the Carnal Christian Heresy to watch the video.

Here is some worthy correspondence between myself and a man named Jeff that might be of help to some readers.

ME: LAStreetPreacher- You asked: "Can a SAVED person still live in sin? Yes, they can. " Not so says my Lord Jesus. Your first error is assuming a person is saved who practices sin. Just because a person says he believes in Jesus doesn't make it so. Examine yourself to see if there is a radical change in your life after your professed conversion. I fear there might not be and that you haven't had your heart circumcised. If you are continually practicing sin you better question your salvation sir. You better stop trusting in your faith because that is not a saving faith which allows a person to continue in their sin without wondering if there has been a true repentance and faith wrought by the power of God. King David said: "Search me oh LORD and see if there be any wicked way in me." Yes, David sinned at one point but he repented and gained God's favor. Have you? Do you think repentance is a work you can do? Know this that God commands that we repent and have faith toward Him but this is a gift that must be given to you. You can not have faith of yourself. Read Eph 2:8-9. A sinner can only DIE in their sin. A saint can only live by being FREE from their sin. They must have a pure heart wherein is no guile and no guilt. As the Psalmist 32:1-2 says: "Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile." There is no life in sinning because sin brings DEATH. Romans 6:23 "For the WAGES of SIN is DEATH..." "How shall we that are dead to sin live any longer therein?" He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

LAStreetPreacher You would also have to tear out the book of 1John that gives us tests so we can know that our faith is rock solid. Paul said to the Corinthians examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. Test yourself. No such thing as a carnal christian. To be carnal minded is death. He conveniently left that part out. Jesus said if you love me obey my commandments. How can you be practicing unrighteousness and claim to have the SPIRIT of God inside you?

Jeff buchanan- I agree with you. There is no such thing as a "carnal" or fleshly Christian. The false teaching of the carnal Christian has infected the local congregations via the heretical Scofield Bible and Ryrie study Bible and many seminaries and Bible colleges which speak not the truth. The Christian is a spiritual person as opposed to a natural person which is not saved. The natural or carnal man is a lost person who may be very religious and profess to be a follower of Jesus but you will detect that person's false false by their actions which lacks godly fruit.

LAStreetPreacher ABSOLUTELY! Well said.

LAStreetPreacher There are so many false conversions in the church and it is difficult to convince someone who may not be saved to examine themselves according to scripture. Lots of false teachings out there and people are getting their ears tickled.

Jeff have you found a local church that is faithful to the Lord and His teachings? Where the love of God is evidently manifest in the members? Where they evangelize the lost? Where they gather together in joy but a have a holy fear of God's word and ready to hear what it has to say? I sure haven't and so that tells us where we are in these end times when the Lord's second coming appears to be drawing ever nearer. Let me encourage you to subscribe to my channel or at least look over several of my videos so we can keep in touch.

LAStreetPreacher Unfortunately I haven't found a church that fits anything close to what you describe. You are right! I believe we are in the great falling away spoken in Thessalonians. The last church I attended I asked the pastor, Do we have anything to do with our salvation? He answered, I'm going to have to ponder that awhile. I was stunned to say the least. A pastor of 30 years gives me that kind of an answer. One of the home groups I was attending, which was a branch from the that same church, began a study prompted from that same pastor on "how to be more blessed of God. Turned out be a Kenneth Copeland, Joyce Meyer prosperity teaching. I was the only one of about 25 that stood against it. They gather up stones to stone me.

Jeff buchanan- both Kenneth Copeland and Joyce Meyers are false teachers. They have no idea what Biblical salvation is. They think they have the ability to accept the Lord through their "free will" but you will not find that idea taught anywhere in the Bible. Moreover these two are both prosperity teachers following the "health and wealth" gospel that so many Charismatics teach. Salvation is of the LORD (Jonah 2:9) not man's free will. Also see John 1:11-13 and Romans 9:13- 16 where Paul says of the LORD "As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy." Notice the word "loved" is the same Greek word for when Jesus will say to those he casts away on judgment day in Matthew 7:21-23 "Depart from me you who work iniquity for I never knew or loved thee."

Hear what the great commentator John Gill writes on Matthew 7:21:23 "I never knew you; which must be understood consistent with the omniscience of Christ; for as the omniscient God he knew their persons and their works, and that they were workers of iniquity; he knew what they had been doing all their days under the guise of religion; he knew the principles of all their actions, and the views they had in all they did; nothing is hid from him. But, as words of knowledge often carry in them the ideas of affection, and approbation, see Psalm 1:6 the meaning of Christ here is, I never had any love, or affection for you; I never esteemed you; I never made any account of you, as mine, as belonging to me; I never approved of you, nor your conduct; I never had any converse, communication, nor society with you, nor you with me. The Persic version reads it, "I have not known you of old", from ancient times, or from everlasting; I never knew you in my Father's choice, and my own, nor in my Father's gift to me, nor in the everlasting covenant of grace; I never knew you as my sheep, for whom, in time, I died, and called by name."

LAStreetPreacher You are right on brother!!!! A religious lie has so much power and people would rather believe a lie than admit that they were fooled. I haven't stopped looking for a church as you described earlier but it certainly won't deter me from seeking after my MASTER as I'm sure it won't deter you either. I have asked many easy believism people one question and have yet to have it answered. Paul said examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. How can someone examine grace without works? I was proud of my 21 year old son when I asked him and his reply, you can't examine grace apart from works.
