But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-7 NIV

We deserved the wrath of God because of our past way of living. Yet, God loves us so much, and instead, shows us the depth of His love for us. He is so merciful, and even though we were dead in transgressions, He, the Father, has made us alive, in and through Jesus Christ. It is through the grace of God, and the shedding of innocent and holy blood by our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ, that we are saved. It is totally out of God’s mercy and love for us that we have been saved. We have done nothing on our part to deserve the salvation we are given in Christ. Thus, this shows the grace of God.

We have been raised up to the heavenly realms with Christ Jesus. Our desires now are not of this world. Our desire is to do the will of God, and work for the advancement of His kingdom.

The incomparable grace of God is revealed in His love and mercy toward us, His adopted children in His Son, Jesus Christ. His grace and mercy are revealed more and more with the passage of time. His will is accomplished as we do His will. His perfect plan is and always has been in place. The will of God shall be accomplished. No one can alter what God has deemed shall occur. Keep working on the advancing of God’s kingdom, and see His incomparable love, grace, and mercy shine upon you!
