With all wisdom and understanding, he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. Ephesians 1:8b-10 NIV

God’s ways are not man’s ways, nor are His thoughts our thoughts. Therefore, it would take all wisdom and understanding to make known to those who believe in Him, His will. Without His wisdom and understanding imparted to us, His will would remain a mystery. God loves us so much, that through His only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, He has made known to us His will. To know the will of the Heavenly Father is a blessing we have had bestowed upon us. It was, and is God’s pleasure to make known to us His will. But, we can only understand the will of the Heavenly Father through believing in His Son, Jesus Christ. So, God purposed our being made aware of His will through His Son. This is all part of the perfect plan of the Heavenly Father. Nothing is missing from the perfect plan of the Heavenly Father. Everything is in it’s proper place for the accomplishment of the Father’s will.

God’s will is that there be a unity of all things in heaven and on earth. And, this will come to be in the fulfillment of time. This is why we, as followers of Jesus Christ, work for the advancement of the kingdom of God. We are working toward the unity of all in heaven and on earth. This is the will of our Father in heaven. Let us work together in bringing about the will of our Father in heaven, who provides for us all we need, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
