LASTDAYS

I sought the Lord about the time
The time of His second return.
And He spoke to me in a quiet way
That all falsehood must bow and be burned.

There will be scatterings and great persecution
There'll be wrath from the enemy's bowels
Vast deception and cold elocution
Great deceit, it assaults even now.

How could there be
Such vast tribulation
At the hands of a merciful God?
The godless shall reap
What the godless have sown
Blessed Redemption they trampled and trod.

"Resist the evil, it will flee from you
Did I not tell you this in My Word?"
"How long will you cherish and worship a lie
And ignore all the truth that you've heard?"

"The gates of hell shall not prevail
My bride shall shine like the sun."
"And in purity true
I'll remake her anew
To the likeness of My Holy Son."
