I wonder if the atom of time could somehow be split even as the atom of matter has been split.  I wonder if it too would be accompanied by an unprecedented release of power and energy.  It's good and reassuring to think and anticipate that it would be a burst of creative energy this time,  that would fundamentally and radically change the world.  This is after all perhaps just another way of describing one aspect of the breathtaking mystery of the second coming of Jesus Christ the Messiah.
As it says in First Corinthians chapter 15 and verse 52 of the New Testament: "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.  For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed."  (interestingly, the Greek word for "moment" is "atomo" the root for our English word "atom.")  If we know that the Messiah will soon return, and if we know there will be a people alive and "alove" on the face of the earth that will greet Him when He does and receive Him as He deserves this time, in a way that is worthy of His Majesty, if we know and yearn for all this, then we know a wonderful secret that most will never know!
