YOUR EFFECTIVE CHRISTIAN LIFE

Matthew 28: 18And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,

“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

Go therefore and Is. 52:10; Luke 24:47; (Acts 2:38, 39); Rom. 10:18; Col. 1:23

make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 (Acts 2:42)teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am (Acts 4:31; 18:10; 23:11)with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal savior saying, “I surrender all!” So what comes next? What must I do to fulfill Matthew 28:18- 20 as my destined purpose and work for the Lord here on earth?
The work as we all know, is as important as the walk, so how can I effectively serve in my ministry doing this work for the one who has sent me so that at the end I can stand with joy in front of my Lord and receive, “WELCOME GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT”!

All the answers lie within the word of God- THE HOLY BIBLE.

To begin with, we need to understand the word servant and outline the major attributes that a servant must possess to please his master always.

A servant is one sent on an errand for a purpose to do the WILL of his MASTER---Matthew 10:16, John 14:15

A servant must always trust the GOOD judgment of his master; whatever he is told to do HE MUST DO---John 14:1

A servant must lay aside a confused mind concerning his master and be focused ALWAYS!---John 16:16-17, Romans 8:5-10

A servant is in awe of his master in every way---Revelations 4:11

The servant will always do what he can within his power to protect and keep the good image of his master--- Colossians 2:8, Philippians 4:8

The servant should always speak well about his master to all that he comes in contact with---Psalm 9:1

Most importantly, the servant understudies his master and learns from him how to work for and walk right with Him

These men are examples of those who served human masters diligently:

Elisha with Elijah
Aaron with Moses
the disciples with Jesus

Hebrews 1: 14… Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
