1 Samuel 2:2 THERE IS NONE HOLY AS THE LORD: for there is none beside you: neither is there any rock like our God.

Revelations 16:5

And I heard the angel of the waters say: "Righteous are You, O HOLY ONE, who is and who was, because You have brought these judgments.

 Revelations 15:4... Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? FOR THOU ONLY ART HOLY: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

25. And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

26. But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.


“His holiness this, his holiness that...”,  this was a conversation going on between two people, later on, I heard same reference on television as they talked about the catholic pontiff, the pope. This started me on a string of events flashing through my mind, which i´d never given a second thought until now; about the Bible and many verses that refer to worship and reverence for ANYTHING or ANYONE. If I find myself in the presence of the pope I thought, would I be able to speak it out and call him ‘Your holiness’? I cringe even at the thought of being able to refer to anyone as such, except the MOST HIGH, ALMIGHTY GOD AND CREATOR
