He replied: “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. Herein Jesus provides some insight into the end of times. From the time of Christ until now people have wanted to know when the second coming of Christ would be, and what would be the events which would lead up to the end of times.

There are different points of view as to the rapture and the end of times, which might also be called the tribulation period.

It will truly be difficult to live during the tribulation times. Christ provides some warnings within this passage. Instead of focusing on these matters, it is better for us to focus on doing God’s will in our daily lives. Whatever trials or tribulation we face in life, Christ will be with us and provide for us.
