He replied, “I tell you that to everyone who has, more will be given, but as for the one who has nothing, even what they have will be taken away. But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them—bring them here and kill them in front of me.” Luke 19:26-27 NIV
To those who wisely use the gifts provided to them by God, more will be given. God abundantly provides blessings to those who belong to Him. He provides gifts as He deems appropriate to each. These gifts are to be used for the kingdom of God, and its advancement.
We must not become lazy with the which we are given by the Lord. The gifts we receive are given with a purpose. God wants those who belong to Him to aid in advancing His kingdom. This is one manner is which we can show God how appreciative we are for that which He does for us. We must choose our actions carefully in utilizing God’s gifts to us. Speak with the Lord, asking Him to help you to wisely use the gifts you have been given.
If we wisely use that which we have been given, we shall be given more. If we can be trusted with smaller things, then we in turn can be trusted with that which is larger. Following Christ is a way of life. We must do it always, not just when we feel up to doing so.
Ask of God “How can I utilize the gifts you have given me so that you may be glorified?” Utilize wisely and you will be allotted more!
