No Coat Tail Riding Permitted

We must realize that there is no “coat tail riding” to get into heaven. We cannot expect the blessing of eternal life because we go to church, or because we associate with true believers. The “passport” for admission into the kingdom of God must lie within our heart and soul. At the center of our very being must be Jesus Christ, the Savior of all of mankind. One cannot hold onto a mate in bed and expect to be taken with their believing mate when the Lord returns in His glory. Each of us makes the choice that determines our eternal fate. There is no sitting on the fence. If you sit on the fence, you will fall on the wrong side and lose forever! If you are sitting on the fence now, do not hesitate. Do not believe there is another “admission ticket” available to eternal life. Accept Jesus now. Tomorrow might be too late, as tomorrow is not assured to us. Don’t be afraid. There is nothing to fear. You should feel fear if you remain on the fence. It would be comparable to playing Russian roulette. You do not want to do that with your eternal destiny.

Let us share God’s Good News with others. We might just encounter one of those sitting on the fence. It could be the fence sitter’s life might end this day. Let us make sure it is after we have spoken with them. Christ can work very quickly on a heart which has heard the word.
