The heart doesn't feel like crying;
it has better things to say
Over the mountains and valley's low
God's comfort is on it's way

It didn't call for any of loneliness
no, it didn't ask for it's say
But it chose the sun, with it's warmth
to make it, have a merry day

When misery had knocked on it's door
it quickly said, be on your way
And when sorrow tried to push it's sadness
peace stood up and claimed the day

It said, heart let the Lord's joy remain
allow his presence to be your light
For did He not promise, to be a keeper
and that is, both day or night

Darkness, there is no room open to you
not a one can you enter in
Because, where it's peace, the Lord resides
yes, the heart He dwells within

The sign on the outside' says keep out
and it will not open for you
It is locked by the word, which is the key
that's why you can't get through

The heart's being preserved, for good reason
and it has a need to stay free
For nothing works well if there's confusion
that's why peace was given to thee

Life it does have it's bumpy roads
and a few crooks and curves
But we have a dwelling place like no other
that can fix any bad nerves

So when outside it might be raining
but it won't affect your soul
We can have sunshine in whatever the day
for peace, the heart does hold

unto you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto
you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither
let it be afraid
