Waves of billowy brine
Assault our swaying vessel
Like leviathans unleashed by
King Neptune’s tempestuous wrath.
Our hopes are all but dashed as
Nerves drown in adrenal floods of fear!
Watching for the faintest hope,
All eyes turn towards a distant shape
Treading across the darkened deep,
Easily strolling o’er the crashing swells and
Reaching out the hand of peace.
