Exposes a lack of faith,
A poor reflection of Christ we are
when we fail to extend God’s grace.

Seek God’s face in every matter,
Leave behind your pride,
Be obedient to capture that thought
Before a spark turns into a fire.

Be quick to overlook an offense,
Let it roll right off your back,
For to unify the body of Christ
Is a Heavenly task.

Let your gentleness be unmistakable,
Always answer in a loving way,
Calm and reason will win a friend
And in everything peace will reign.

A shining light our church can be
Pure, an example of love,
Of the same mind, of one accord
Unity, blessed from above.
