The Word of God, I do receive,
Revelation from above
Holy Scriptures, God breathed,
The inerrant proclamation of Love

Moved by the Spirit, the writers did pen
A living and active weapon
Forever piercing the heart of man
Unfolding the path to Heaven

Ever moving closer to Him
Set apart to abide in The Vine
With faith and conviction, I journey on
With new purpose and a changed life

With obedience to Your decrees
Let Your will prevail
Gird me up and set me free
To walk a worthy trail

To fulfill the plans before me
Prepared by You in advance
Through all life’s trials and suffering
My hope in Christ steadfast

For those who reject Your message
The wrath of God to endure
So may I, who know the truth,
Carry it to the world
