Knees Buckled Under


You thought you had me
Had me down
Knees buckled under
Face in the ground

You thought you destroyed
Me and my life
You brought discord
And so much strife

But guess what?
I’m back-stronger than before
And now it’s my turn
To even the score

Knees buckled under
Hands in the air
Face in the ground
I found prayer

No more tears
Ain’t that a shame?
I’m not gonna play
Your little game

You see my smile
Hear my laughter now
And I bet
You wonder how

Knees buckled under
Tears running down my face
I cried unto My Father
He gave me His Grace

He took and comforted me
As if I was a little girl
Then gave me His Strength
To conquer the world

He gave me His Word
To hold onto
To call upon
To defeat you

He covered me with his blood
The blood of His Cross
Guess what Satan?
You lost

Because I’m back now
Yes stronger than before
And upon you
I have declared war.

Knees buckled under
Face in the ground
Yahweh raised me up
And gave me His Crown
