You Can't Live Like a King on a Beggars Budget.

How would you view your relationship with Jesus? Are you willing to be a person of action? Someone who knows Jesus and studies, prays, worships, and has love. If you have to ask, am I doing all I can for Jesus, are you trying to live like a king on a beggars budget?

For as much as Jesus has done for us do we realize what He has truly done? When He chose to die on the cruel cross to atone us of our sinful nature, it wasn't done lightly. When He was buried and resurrected 3 days later it wasn't just casual. When He sets us the captives free, redeems, heals, and makes us whole it wasn't a passing fad. He took what He did seriously. So if we are truly believers shouldn't we also take our walk serious?

We try to live like kings, thinking all we have to do is accept Jesus and all will be well. This is true But its a half truth. Everyday as Paul said we have to die daily. Ask forgiveness daily. Walk the walk daily. It requires work on our part. Faith without works is dead So if we want to be kings we can't have a beggars budget.

We must seek and pray to Our God daily. So that we can talk to the general who gives us our direction. If you use your prayer time to just ask for blessings then you already missed it. You're living as a beggar not a king. But if your prayer is to be thankful for what you have knowing God will provide what's needed and asking For Him to direct your footsteps then you will live like a king.

If your idea of worship is singing a couple songs shouting a little bit and not truly extolling who God is. Then your worship is a beggar. But if you worship always with a merry heart knowing that without God by your side you'd be a nothing...then you'll be a king.

If you read and can quote a few scriptures but not studying to show yourself approved, you'll be a beggar. But if you pray and worship then study watch how Gods word will come Alive within you and have the power that is in the words, you'll be a king.

If you only have love for those who love you and judge everyone or not care about the lost souls then you'll be a beggar.
But if Love is the guiding force of your life you'll see everyone in a different light and be a king cause you'll have the wisdom from the word, directions from prayer, and strength from worship.

You can't live like spiritual kings on a beggars budget. If you want a tangible mighty presence of God in your life you must be a person willing to work and not be lazy with your walk.
