In his book, "Praying The Prayers Of The Bible", James Banks makes this statement,  We can never thank God enough. Praying  the "thank you prayers" of the Bible cultivates gratitude in us and opens our eyes to "the riches of his glorious  inheritance in the saints" (Ephesians 1:18).

Yes, we can never thank God' enough for the work of the cross, through His only begotten Son. (John 3:16)  For the redemptive power of the cross, in the defeat of Satan.(Genesis 3:15)    

You see,  we could never make it on our own resolve. We could never pay enough, be good enough, or  have enough Christians friends, to come to God. God's salvation is simply a matter of our faith in His free grace. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Yes, there's always a choice to be made, however,  as to whether we  will come to God, or remain in our sins. "Keep your eyes on the gift and (maybe) you'll be blessed as long as it last. Turn your heart to the Giver, and you'll   be blessed for eternity." ( James Banks) (Psalm 8:3-9)
