Faith

AS I sit here my tears in my eyes, from the birthday card Dorothy sent me this morning from work, God is on my mind as are others in our group. God has touched me in a way that we all hope for, a clear vision of what he has done in our lives and what lies ahead. My darling wife, is a God send, she stands by me, cares for me, prayes for me, and is the best friend I've ever had. "I have found 'unconditional love', in my mid life years." I know now, that God watched over me as I made a mess of my life before becoming a christian, and how since my injury in 1985, where he made a choice to bring me home or leave me here, to serve him as he would direct me in these many years. With tears in my eyes, I'm coming from my heart that God has a purpose, as he has used me, for our lives if we would just "listen" and open the doors he present us with (oppurtunities). I'm 58 years old now, oh how much more I could have done for him if I had only heeded his call when I was a young man. He spoke to my one day, and I drove around the city I lived in, looking for an "open" church door. I even tried a Catholic church, but I guess the time was not right and he let me wander in the darkness for a few more years, molding my spirit, into one that he could use, as he does now.
Oh people, please turn to God with whatever your needs (problems) are, and then sit back and be sensitive to his will. You may not get the answer you want (Gods will, not mine) but I know from my own life that he does, and will guide those that listen to him.

God is heavy in my heart this morning and I lift up to him every need, decision, purpose, help, whatever is out of place in your heart this day.
