Happy New Year!

Are you Happy?

“Happy are the people who know the joyful shout;
Yahweh, they walk in the light of Your presence.
They rejoice in Your name all day long,
and they are exalted by Your righteousness.
 For You are their magnificent strength;
by Your favor our horn is exalted.
Surely our shield belongs to the Lord,
our king to the Holy One of Israel (Psalm 89:15-18 HCSB).”

I can be happy.

He is with me; He sheds His light upon my path.

JESUS… There is no other name like His.

“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people, and we must be saved by it (Acts 4:12 HCSB).”

I’m robed with His righteousness.

“I greatly rejoice in the Lord,
I exult in my God;
for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation
and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness,
as a groom wears a turban
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels (Isaiah 61:10 HCSB).”

He strengthens me.

“I am able to do all things through Himwho strengthens me (Philippians 4:13 HCSB).”

His favor, His grace is sufficient.

“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for poweris perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me (2 Corinthians 12:9 HCSB).”

Faith is my shield.

“In every situation take the shield of faith,
and with it you will be able to extinguish
all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16 HCSB).”
