People of Action

James 1:22-25 22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

We who are followers of Christ must be a people of action. Our faith without works is dead, and a dead faith is worse than no faith at all. We must produce, be visible, and not just voice our faith but with our actions let others see our Lord Jesus Christ through us. When others see Jesus by our actions they'll realize that their life is not to their satisfaction and then as the Holy Spirit draws them they too will receive salvation.

Everything in being a follower of Christ is action. Receiving salvation is action. Praying is action. Praise and worship is action. Healing is action. Even commiting sin is action. Everything is action. God will vomit us out of His mouth if we just sit and pretend we are followers of Christ. We will never receive blessings if we draw close to God with our lips and our hearts are far from Him. God is a God of action. We too must be people of action.
Jesus said for us to pick up our cross and follow Him. Where ever or whatever He leads us too do if we know Him we will follow. His sheep hear His voice and no other will they follow. We are all unique and vital to the body of Christ. Each of us serves a purpose. But if we are not a people of action then what are we doing? Is it let the dead bury the dead? We who are followers of Christ are alive. We will do many wondrous things for the Kingdom.

Ephesians 2:1-10
1And you has he made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins:
2In which in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:3Among whom also we all had our behavior in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,
5Even when we were dead in sins, has made us alive together with Christ, (by grace you are saved;)6And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:7That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.8For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9Not of works, lest any man should boast.10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them."
We are alive we are a redeemed people of action.

We are not saved by works but by the repentance of sins knowing that Jesus died for us. Was resurrected on the 3rd day. And He gave us forgiveness of our sins. This is the most important action. We must accept Jesus as our Savior. When we are saved we can't help but to do and be a people of action. It doesn't matter what God has called you to do cause it'll be for His Glory and as a byproduct our blessing. Don't just be a hearer of the word but be a doer of the word. Get off the fence and let your faith shine in resurrection power which He has given us life and life more abundantly. Today right now this moment is the day Of salvation. If you feel your life is worthless that you are a nothing just wasting space, know that you are unique and God has created you for a purpose. Not to be pew warmers but to be star players for our God. Go and be a people of action. What are you waiting for? People Will know you are a follower or disciples of Christ by your love. And yes Love is action...so Go.
