We all know the suffering and bitterness that comes from counting and remembering the sins of others. Could it be that unforgiveness would cause God pain and suffering? Therefore, for his own sake, he chooses to not remember our sins.
Thank you Father for assuring me that you are not holding my sins against me. For my own sake, help me to be like Jesus and do the same with all I come in contact. Let me not judge or foster doubt but instead preach your message of reconciliation directing all to your love, mercy, grace and forgiveness.
that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Cor 5:19For those who have not believed the great news from God offered through Jesus Christ, the door is wide open for you.
