So many believers in God are ready to blame and fight the devil. Many times they go into battles woefully unprepared. Just mouthing scripture which they have no true knowledge of. Satan knows this. This is how he tricks most of us. He let's us think we are spiritually prepared to battle a spiritual war. Sadly most of us are unprepared.

Pr 20:18 Make plans by seeking advice; if you wage war, obtain guidance

Proverbs 20:18 should be known by any and all who are preparing to do spiritual warfare. Do you seek advice from the spiritual war veterans to see how they overcome? Or do you just blindly go into the battle not knowing what to really do? If you wage war then seek advice and obtain guidance. Study to show yourself approved.

God has given us each and every tool we need in the Bible to be able to be victorious. But if you don't know the Word what use will it be? So study be prepared. Watch. Be quiet. Listen. Pray. Praise. Give thanks to God.

Before you are ready to put on the Armor of God and enter the realm of spiritual warfare. Read Ephesians Chapter 5 whole chapter.

1Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children2and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Then Paul lists things we who are Christians are not to do. There's a reason for this list. If we are not right with God how can we even attempt to battle Satan? So examine yourself. Ask forgiveness. Follow God's example. Follow CHRIST and walk worthy of your title of being a Christian.

Ephesians 6:10-18

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenlyrealms.13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 

The Mighty Armor of God. Our protection from spiritual warfare. A wondrous weapon we have been blessed with to be able to walk in Christ and be fearless. How we can defeat our enemy. (An already defeated enemy Satan)
Here is how it is done.

1. Be Strong in the Lord and in His Might. If we have active sin in our life we will not be as Strong in the Lord as we think. This is why it's important to study Ephesians Chapter 5 first so we can put aside all the hindrances that we put on yourself. Be Strong. Ask Forgiveness. Forgive OTHERS. Pray. Praise. Give thanks and Glory to God.

2. Now we can put on the Full Armor of God. We are covered in the Blood of Jesus forgiven. So now we are able to withstand the wiles or tricks of Satan. Our battle is not with other believers. It is against rulers principalities of darkness and evil. Put on the Armor and STAND. Raise the standard of the Lord high and STAND and resist. Don't give up.

3. Stand Firm with the Belt of Truth around your waist. And your breastplate of Righteousness. Jesus is the Truth. So our belt is knowing who Jesus is. What He has already done for us. That we already have the victory. Knowing who Jesus is and His Righteousness our breastplate covers our heart. Cause our righteousness is as filthy rags. But with Jesus the Truth around our waist we have His Righteousness.

4. Our feet with the readiness of the Gospel of Peace. The Word of God is life. The Gospel is good news. Peace is what Jesus gives us because we will be ready cause His Word we have Hid in our hearts. So we will not be unprepared but ready.

5. Take up the shield of faith so you can deflect the arrows of the enemy. Know who you are in Christ and any attack you'll be able to deflect because you Know Jesus. And because you know Jesus you have Faith in Jesus.

6. Take the helmet of salvation. Place in your mind you are redeemed. You have salvation from Jesus sacrifice death and resurrection. Know you are saved. And pick up the Sword of the Spirit God Word. Study to show yourself approved. If you don't know the Word of God what use is it? So Study.

7. Pray. Pray always without ceasing. How can you do battle if your not talking to the General? The general is God. Pray for OTHERS around you. Your not the only one who is going through battles. We all are. So pray for one another. Be there for one another. Love one ANOTHER.

Remember be prepared. Study. Pray. Praise. Stand. Seek advice. Know who you are in Christ. Know you have the victory. Satan is like a roaring lion (a toothless lion all roar no bite) but Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He has already defeated Satan. We just put ourselves in positions we should never be in by our not walking Christ-like. So know the victory is yours. Jesus is your salvation. And if you don't know what to do STAND.
