AN INSCRIPTION ON THE MIND HIGHWAY

Key Verses from John 11(KJV)

An inscription on the mind highway ‘’ THE EXIT OF THE CREATOR’’ this is what Mr. Thoughts saw while walking through the pathway of mindsets. For we live by faith not by sight, (2 Corinthians 5:7). Christ promised He is always with us as Christians in Matthew 28:20 ‘’…lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.’’  There is a story of a man who saw himself walking through a pathway, and could see his foot prints and another two which was Christ and behold the man was very joyful knowing that God is with him always. And the journey continued, at a point when it seems like the road ahead is rough and slippery, this man saw only two foot imprints and he wondered why God will choose to live him alone at this very challenging time. And as he pondered on this, he heard a voice saying ‘’ I knew you won’t be able to walk on this rough path, so I carried you up. The foot you see now are not yours but mine.” ‘’Teaching them (us) to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you (us)…’’ (Matthew 28:20). God expects us to be faithful and true, for doubting God is in itself a Sin in the sight of God “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV). Christ love for the believers is omnipotent and cannot be deterred if we keep on living in righteousness.

Let’s take a walk down to verse 3 of John chapter 11 “so the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick” Jesus loves his friends and who are Jesus friends? Matthew 12:48-50 “but he answered and said unto him that told him, who is my mother? And who are my brethren? 49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, behold my mother and my brethren! 50 For whosoever shall do the will of my father which is in heaven, the same is my mother and my brethren!” Let’s go back to the word sent to Christ “… the one you love is sick” and Jesus responded in manner you and I will start doubting “will God help me in this situation, or should I think of a plan B?” in verse 6 “When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was”. Jesus decided to still stay back instead of going to save his friend immediately. Why will you care for me and not respond to my problems speedily, what manner of love is that? Verse 21 Martha, Lazarus sister said unto Jesus “… Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died”.  If God hadst been there from the start, if he is with me why the troubles, why the rough pathway and she also showed faith in Christ in verse 22 “ but I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask God, god will give thee”. No matter how complex things might have turned out, no matter how far you have gone, it is not a big deal just make a U turn back to a life of faith in Christ and this is what happens… Verse 43 “And when He thus had spoken, He (Jesus) cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

“Jesus said, take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days”. (Verse 39). Christ doesn’t need to know how long the problem has persisted, or how far it has affected you negatively. This is the demand in verse 40 “Jesus saith unto her (you), said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God”.

Hey keep your mind at rest “for God is not a man that he should repent, his promises are yes and Amen”. Strengthen your faith- ignite the passion once again and stand your grounds for God is “Rebuilding the Ancient Ruins”.
