The Perfect Plan

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14 NIV)

God has a perfect plan for mankind. Do we truly understand what this means? Perfect means exactly what it says. God’s plan is without flaw. We can do nothing to change God’s perfect plan. What we are asked to do is to accept the perfect plan, to believe in it. We are asked to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins. He paid the ransom for our redemption. Jesus Christ was sent to us by the Heavenly Father. Jesus was sent so that we might know the will and desire of the Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ made His dwelling among us so that through His words and deeds we would come to believe in Him and accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Those who have believed in Christ have seen His glory revealed. Christ works in and through us so that His glory and the glory of the Heavenly Father might be revealed. Jesus was sent by the Father, and returned to the Father. Yet, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit dwell in the heart, mind, and soul of every believer.

What is grace? It is the free and unmerited favor of God. The Father’s favor is manifested through His Son Jesus Christ, who died for our sins so that we can be reconciled to the Father. It is unmerited on our part. It is freely given as a gift from our Heavenly Father. Jesus is truth, nothing but the truth and only the truth, pure Holy truth.

Again, I say, that I do not believe that we humans can truly comprehend the word perfect, for there is truly only one perfect thing in all existence. That one perfect thing is the plan of the Heavenly Father, and all that is entailed in that plan.
