“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” (John 15:5-8)

Jesus lets us know that He is the vine. If we do not live in Christ, our lives are lost. We are living only to die. We truly cannot do anything without our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ living within our hearts and souls. Those who live for themselves will meet an awful fate, thrown into the eternal fire. How can one be so shortsighted to seek earthly treasures just to face an eternity without God? If we abide in Christ and Christ in us, we will bear much fruit. This is a promise of our Lord! By us bearing much fruit, the Father’s glory is seen in us! We truly are vessels for our Lord and the Heavenly Father. Oh, I pray always that we will surrender to be faithful vessels of our Lord! We cannot imagine how much fruit we can bear if we truly belong to Him!

Remember always: What Jesus promises, He delivers!!
