Have you wondered why?

There are two ways to see what is on the bottom of the water barrel; one is to stir  up the contents  and bring the sediment swirling to the top, and the other is to allow everything to settle so that the contents in the sediment are visible from above.

The analogy I am using is that our political system is a polluted barrel of water and it has not been discernible, before now, what could possibly be the problem.

The Republicans' have had the majority in our government and yet they have seemed to be without power to do anything, or to get anything done.

We have scratched our heads in wonder.  "Why?" we have asked.

I think I am seeing a very likely answer.

This election cycle is indeed like none other any of us have ever seen; there is a swirling of the bottom sediments and what I am seeing is that many who call themselves Republican and many who call themselves Democrat are using those identifications to get the votes of those of us who identify as one or the other.

They are not calling themselves Progressives, which they are. 


Some of our elected officials are who they say they are, but not all of them.  Many are only the silent Progressive.

There is no blurring of their Progressive ideals or intentions whether called Democrat or Republican; they are on the same page.

Therefore, those of the ranks who they say are of the Republicans but that have been covertly, until now, sitting still or voting with the Progressives of the other side, they are being exposed.   Little wonder nothing we think should be happening is happening.

Currently, after the stirring of the water, we can see those who are not Conservatives or even Republicans,  but who have posed as such, and are now going to vote for the other Progressives.  That can happen because that is where they have stood all along.

Both of our major Party's have Conservative, or values voters within their ranks.

The answer for us all as voters, and especially us who are Christian voters for Christian values, is to DROP the ID  of either Democrat or Republican or any other denotation,  and vote for the PERSON who best upholds our God proclaimed values, be they Democrat or Republican because there are some from both Party's who are wolves in sheep's clothing  (and some from both Party's who are true.)

So let us watch those politicians we have voted in or are thinking of voting in to office and see what they do! Let us evaluate what they have done.

We too easily permit ourselves to be guilty, according to Paul's inspired instruction, of Party spirit.  To be of such Party spirit is to blind our personal views, forsaking the values that God has set before us, to the view of those who perhaps are even the enemies of God as they violate His standards.

It makes no difference if everyone can agree on God, or with God.  God remains Who He is and we are individually accountable to Him.

We clearly understand the Laws of a State or of the Nation, but think we will adjust God's Laws to suit ourselves.

I do Medical Coding and it makes no difference if I agree with the codes or don't; if I want my clinic to be paid then I had better code according to the set guidelines, which incidentally are not suggestions.

How much more must we as God's people hold His Laws as what they are, COMMANDS. 

We are accountable to God for our vote.  We are here to be change agents, in God's favor.
