What if I wake up one morning and you’re not there?
The world would not cease to function but I wouldn’t care.
You are my morning thought and my evening prayer.

I see you in everything I do. My world is there in you.
Do I need to touch you? To free you in my mind?
There is definitely a part of you in everything I do,
If I looked for true love somewhere else what would I find?

I can’t settle for anything less, no matter what.
So love is a gentle trap binding me securely.
Could I ever bear to live without you? I think not.
You are my one true love and I love you so truly.

If true love is born in Heaven, then that’s where we’re from.
If it must go through through Hell, then through Hell, we’ve come.
To have to live somewhere in-between will show us more passion than we’ve ever seen.

What if I wake up tomorrow and you’re not there?
That’s impossible, I know for sure. You’re even in my dreams.
I will love you forever. You’ve always been there, it seems.
God has given us to each other for all time and our love flows to everywhere.
