Toxic people claim your heart and soul like take-aways.
Be careful, Monday's Special, cheap as chips, is on display!

Talk to God by saying prayers, by all means come what may
protect yourself from residue of all their yesterdays.

They drain you, see? And are not happy 'til they bring you down.
Your kindest smile which was your own,
is replaced with a frown.

They get on with their day and have no thought of you at all.
Their deed is now complete as soon as you answer their call.

In future, brace yourself, become as hard as you can be.
Bear your truth for poisoned people scare so easily.

For they have no foundation, they build scaffold on the streets.
Once I recall that God is good, no harm will come to me.
