I'm absorbing your secrets,
you reveal each surprise.
As your eyes hold the answer
to morning's sunrise.

I am loving your features,
I'm impressed by your charms.
As from now to forever
I'm safe in your arms.

Yesterdays appear hazy,
I'd not lived until you
told me there is a place
for us here, in this world,
built for two.

Two people once lonely,
will shout this out loud.
Have broken away from the noise
of the maddening crowd.

I pray for your protection,
Michael springs to mind.
May he fight the good fight,
keeping you in my light,
for I won the 1st prize!
