Writing to convey a message

As I read that quote, I thought of some writers who have become cherished friends of mine. I have gone through some very rocky paths over the last ten years that found me regularly in need of encouragement and advice from a place of wisdom and maturity. Through the written pieces they share publicly and privately, I have always found a word of advice which directs me back to God's Word which provided encouragement when discouraged and comfort in times of sorrow.

To my writer friends and all who write for the uplifting of others, I pass on this advice: Let nothing and no one stop you from conveying the messages God has given you, with whatever abilities given to you. Over the past 10 years your written pieces have presented God's Word to me as words of comfort in times of sorrow and encouragement when feeling discouraged.

Thank you for caring enough to share your heart in written form to help mend the broken pieces in the lives around you. Thank you also for your friendship which developed out of our sharing. Thank you for listening to that still soft voice and responding in obedience so that people like me can know that we're not alone and that God will always provide help through willing and available vessels.

Be blessed and continue being a blessing to others.
