DO YOU HAVE THE FULL GOSPEL

In today's church world, we hear a lot of conversation regarding the "full gospel" ministry.  What is the full gospel ? To answer the question, we must go directly to the scriptures  (Romans 1:1-6).

The apostle Paul, for one, was an advocate of the full gospel doctrine, which is  prevalent throughout  his writings (1 Cor 15:1-4).

For starters, and for the full gospel to operate in our lives , we must first return to Calvary (1 Peter 2:24). Then,  we must invite the saving (Acts 17:11) and convicting  power (John 16:8-11) of God's Holy Spirit into our lives.

In addition,  to Calvary and God's  Holy Spirit,  and of equal value of importance,  is our prayer life (psalm 145:8). Simply put, prayer is basically   us responding to the Holy Spirit's leading (Romans 8:26) in talking to our heavenly Father (Philippians 4:6).

God is willing and waiting, to continue what He started over 2000 years ago, that being the  initial appearance of His Holy Spirit in the believers lives  (Acts 2:1-13). 

This unusually historic  event  marking the birth of the church (Acts 2:1-47),  is what is sorely  needed in today's environment.

You see, our Heavenly Father is longing today for us to be intimate with Him. Only then can we realize the   functional  released of God's "full gospel".  Only then can God manifest His holy attributes of power, passion, and purity, in our lives, through His holy Trinity. Only then dare we stand in defiance of the enemy and shout, “Satan, you can’t have my life"(Matthew 16:23).  

So then, we must ask ourselves, Has God's program for His church changed? Is Jesus any less compassionate to lost, hurting people now, than He was during His earthly ministry? Is the Book of Acts simply an old, dusty relic? Or,  is it a living, dynamic model for how the church is to operate in today's world? My answer, Jesus was, and is,  and is to come (Revelation 1:4).  He  will always be the God Man (Hebrews 13:8).

And we vividly see the character traits of God  in the person of Jesus Christ. Throughout the  Gospels, we see the special anointing, which set the  stage for the proclamation of the "full gospel",. Hence,  many people, since the inception of God's church,  have come to know Jesus as the result of the "full gospel". 

Yes, today's church should follow the example of our first church (Acts 2:37-47) Our Heavenly Father calls on all believers to follow His example, and promises us the same supernatural power to accomplish this mission! (Mark 16:15-20) ( John 14:12) (Acts 1:8). So, let us be about our Father's business (Luke 2:49).

As in any question concerning theology, we must always go directly to God's inspired Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

What is the "full gospel"  Simply put, it is the full council of God (Acts 20:27). So, in the gospel of Jesus Christ, God Son (John 3:16), is the summary explanation of who he is and what he accomplished for you. The word gospel literally means "good news". It's good news because it's an answer to a problem. So...what's the problem?

In today's world, preacher need to preach it, we need to hear it, and everyone needs to adhere to it, the "full gospel" that is.
