Walk in Love

Eph 5:2
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
........................................................................................................................................

Praise the Lord!!!
This is an instruction in righteousness for us to fulfill the royal law of love. In the poverty of our love and gone astray as sheep witbout a shepherd, our God sending His to be sin for us who knew no sin, crushed that power of sin and made us free.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Jn 3:16-17

The bible says Jesus has given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God, a sweetsmelling savour. By this demonstration of love to us not desiring that anyone to perish, we are admonished to also walk in such love towards one another as Christ has loved us.

To walk ...peripateo..gk, which means ...to live, ...deport oneself, ...as proof of ability, ....follow, ...go, ...be occupied with, ...walk, in love is to obey the commandments in the Word of God.

If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. Jn 15:10

In other words beloved, walking in love is to live or deport yourself in your sphere of contact according to the Word of God which is wisdom, to the bring many to the saving knowledge and believers to edification.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Jn 15:12-14

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Ps 90:12

Do you love me? Jesus asked Apostle Peter and He is asking you today the same question. Why?

He asked him 3 times to make the concept of Love He is asking about to be made crystal clear before giving him an assignment.

This is because ministering and minstry does not begin with a love for people but the love for God and the atmosphere of that love relationship with Christ Jesus overflows to people.

This Love ...agape..gk, means ... affection, ...benevolence, ...dear, ...love., flows from the heart with good judgment and deliberate choice. This is distinguished from,

...phileo..gk, meaning love flowing from the mind, that is, to be fond of or have affection for or attachment to or a feeling.

We need to walk in love towards God and neighbor as a proof of ability of Christ's love in you with a demonstration of love even to your enemies.

Thus beloved, the fruit of Love ...agape..gk, in us for our God is supreme. This (Love) charity edifieth us, 1 Cor 8:1, to flow to people with love ...phileo..gk. The bible says ...

If any man love God, the same is known of him. 1 Cor 8:3

Why the walk in love? This is because love is the greatest of all vitue. The bible says ...

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. 1 Cor 13:13

Faith is for now, hope is for tomorow and love is for all time. It is Love that set all the virtues working. Faith works by love and it is for our love we hope for tomorow. Walk in love and love only.

See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 1 Thes 5:15

To demonstrate our faith in this generation, it is by love's work. Jesus says do good and love even your enemy that by your love many will be turned to salvation.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Gal 6:10

The love of Christ constrains us in this world of hatred to only let love which is the greatest weapon to lead us in all our endeavors.

Without love you will be bitter in this faithless world which may defile you. Love first and second and third. Love always!

Walk in Love.

Stay blessed!!!
