Hear, oh Israel, the Lord is strong to save.
He hath subdued the lion's mouth
and subjected the hoary frost to the
warmth of His love.
The Lord doeth great wonders in the heavens
and layeth the foundation of the earth on nothing.
By His decree kings reign and kingdoms are
destroyed.

He feeds the poor with bread from afar and waters
the dry and barren ground.
Who is like the Lord great in power and in wisdom
unfathomable?
Who can count the stars or increase their number?
Man, who is full of confusion, can not tell from whence
he comes or goes.

Fear the Lord all ye people; Give glory to His name
forevermore, for great is the God of Jacob.
