I have seen many people that like honey. They keep enumerating all its wonderful attributes. Honey has a wide range of applications it can be used as a medicine, for baking, as a skin care therapy, an energy booster and many others. The question today though is how is the honey made? In simple terms honey is made out of the much effort from the bees. During spring they suck out nectar from the flowers. The honey stomach holds approximately 70mg of nectar and the bee must visit between 100-1500 flowers to fill up its honey stomach.

The lesson to learn from this is that hardwork and diligence may not look attractive or fun in the present, but their result is usually enormous and rewarding. The bible says “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before meanmen” Prov. 22:29.

Another interesting thing to note in the honey making process is that the honey we eat is from the flower nectar that the honey bees suck up, regurgitate and dehydrate, this process enhances its nutritional properties and makes it this famous substance that almost everyone likes. Take a moment to think about these three major processes, collecting or sucking up, regurgitating and dehydrating. Whatever process we go through in preparing what God has asked us to serve to others we have to finish it off by making sure it has not been diluted in any way and that it does not contradicts God’s words. It must be in alignment with the word of God.
