Living on Borrowed Time



Time is running out.
Eternity is drawing near.
Jesus may return tonight.
Or it may be next year.
Either way we’re running out of time.
We do not know how long.
We must tell others about Jesus,
In word, deed, and song.
Each of us is given time.
Divided into weeks, days, and hours.
The time we have is borrowed.
It really isn’t ours.
We must use our time wisely.
We must give an account of our time.
Just as we give an account of our money,
Down to the very last dime.
My plea to you is this:
Remember your time is on loan.
Remember the One who loaned it to you,
And use it for Him alone.
