Father, I want to bask in Your love
I want to sail on rivers of joy
And swim in pools of peace.
I want to scale the utmost high
And stand on the mountain peak.
I want to run in meadows green
And lay beside the still waters.
I want to walk hand in hand
And sit low at Your feet.
I want to rise on wings of eagles
And float on the clouds above.
I want to wade in rippling brooks
And splash in streams of mercy.
I want to stroll along the beach
With You by my side.
I want to walk in the early morning
As the sun begins to rise.
I want to sit and watch
As You paint the eastern skies.
Father, I want to come away with You
And spend some quality time.
