Making Comparisons

Oh Lord, help me to stop making comparisons.

Let me remember that each person is an individual whom You have given special skills
and abilities to manifest Your goodness, love and glory for all who want to know,
love and serve You.

Let me remember also that each person was given her or his skills by You and
has nothing to do with my salvation but everything to do with Your glory.

Help me Father to stop trying to judge You and others by my standards but by Your
standards of unconditional love, compassion, forgiveness and mercy.

Help me Father to judge only my performance in light of the skills and abilities You so
lovingly have granted me.

Father, when I fail, help me to stop blaming You, others or myself but recognize the
lesson You are trying to teach me and the forgiveness You are granting me.

Father, help strengthen my trust and faith in You. You know what is best for me.
You are in control of all things for my salvation and Your just glory. Amen.
