What a wonderful day that will be
when Christ in all His glory we see.
Sin and sorrow no more our pain
riches in Christ our greatest gain.
Death and hell destroyed at last
swallowed by the firey blast!
A gathered church of celestial glee
before the throne by the crystal sea.
A new creation His design
ne're more to suffer or repine.
Cast their crowns before the throne
saying "Thou art worthy" alone.
Ten thousand tongues will never explain
the angels and saints eternal reign.
Godly faces we never met
yet shall we see with no regret.
Noah, Moses, Peter, Paul
rejoicing forever, Sons, all.
What a wonderful day that will be
friends and relatives soon we shall see.
No more death, nor sorrow, nor tears
unbelief gone and sinful fears.
New Jerusalem will sing
a song of praise to Christ our King.
